Dr Subra along with Dr. Anu and Kiran (son) has lived in Atlanta for over 30 years and has been an active NKK member for the last 15 years. Dr Bhat is involved in board of Clayton State University, Hindu Temple of Atlanta, GAPI, AKMG and is a member of Rotary, AAPI etc.,
Dr Bhat family have been major donors for Rotary club & also established student scholarships in India & USA. Dr Subra has been a “Top Doctor” award recipient for the last 6 years in a row. Hobbies include reading, walking, physical fitness.
Bharatish, along with wife Parimala and daughters Akshata and Ankita, have been NKK members for about 25 years. As a family they have volunteered and participated in various cultural events of NKK. Bharatish has served NKK as a Board of Director since last five years, and Vice Chairman since last one year and has endeavored to encourage active participation by all the NKK members to transform and grow NKK in to a vibrant community organization.
Dr. Ganapathy Bhat, Ph.D. works as a Master Technologist/Production Planner at Genesis Bio-sciences, Lawrenceville, GA. He has served as BOD member in NKK for the past 4 years. He helps anyway possible in the activities of NKK. Ganapathy lives in Stone Mountain GA along with wife Indira, kids Prajwal and Priyanka.

After moving down south from Pittsburgh, PA in 2016, I had the opportunity to get associated with NKK. From the previous experiences I had with Kannada Kootas, I took over as the president in 2017 and continued for 2018 term as well. During my leadership, had the privilege to host NKK’s 45th Year Anniversary celebrations. I live in Alpharetta along with my wife Sowmya, kids Sinchana and Samarth. Looking forward to make NKK a better platform for Kannadigas of Greater Atlanta Area!
I have been an NKK member for the last 14+ years and have volunteered in various events since then. Live in Lilburn GA along with wife Ranjitha, kids Mridini and Om. I am proud to have served as a Secretary and Joint Secretary in the executive committee team for the last 4 years. I am humbled and thankful to all the members who have given me an opportunity to continue my service for NKK as a BOD.
Dr. N S Prasad, a dentist by profession, am passionate about serving the Kannada community. I live in Newnan GA along with my wife Komal Bhat who is also a dentist and two adorable kids Lakshmi and Raghav. I had the privilege to be part of the Executive Committee for the last 2 years and look forward to serving NKK as a BOD.
I have been an active NKK member since 2005. During AKKA 2012, I was the Chair person for Cultural programs and got accolades for executing the backstage activities. Over the years, have been popular among NKK community for stage performances and as program director for various events. As the new BOD for 2019, I would like to support in reaching out to people and build a strong team for common cause.
Aruna Gadekar, living in Alpharetta, GA with my loving husband Mahantesh and 2 beautiful kids, Amogh and Nidhi. We have been members of NKK since I moved to USA in 2001. We have actively participated in the NKK programs and our kids have regularly attended 'Kannada Kali' in Marietta and Alpharetta. I served as Secretary in NKK EC from 2012-14 and Co- Chair for the Reception Committee for the 7th AKKA World Kannada Conference held in Atlanta in Aug-Sept 2012. Looking forward to serve our community and make NKK a better organization.
After living in 3 different cities all over the US, we finally call Atlanta our home since the past 2 years. Atlanta has embraced our family with open arms. I am married to Sowmya, we have 2 kids - Aditi and Aprameya who keep us going strong.
As a member and office bearer of NKK, I eagerly look forward to give back to our Kannada community in Atlanta. Proud to be serving such an accomplished Kannada community outside our homeland.

An e-Commerce Analytics Manager, Bharath is married to Kavya and a proud father of Aarohi. Has been a resident of Atlanta for the past 3 years. Bharath joined his hands with NKK in 2017 as part of the executive committee. He is passionate about independent and content oriented movies, theatre, photography and long drives.
We moved to Alpharetta from Mason. Have been a resident here for more than 4 years with wife Divyashree, kids Advaith & Adithi.
I work for Retail industry as a Tech Lead. I have served as an office bearer for Cincinnati Kannada Koota and have been part of NKK Executive Committee from 2017.
After living in Minneapolis for a long time, we moved to Atlanta in 2015. Thanks to our son Manu who got enrolled in Georgia tech where our 2nd son Vishnu will also be starting this fall.
Mangala and I are glad we moved & have received very warm welcome by the Kannada community. I look forward to working with the great people in the committee this year.
A software engineer by profession, I have been a resident of Atlanta since 12 years. I am married to Chetan and a mom to a very active 9 year old son Nachiket.
I am a classical dancer and very much interested in Music and Drama. With my inclusion to the Executive Committee of NKK for 2019, am looking forward to serve our Kannada community.
Vidhushi Varsha Krupananda, a professional Bharatanatyam dancer from Bengaluru. Am a passionate artist, choreographer and have performed in many prestigious stages.
I have been part of various organizations and am now excited to be part of NKK Atlanta. Moved to USA 7 years back and have been in Atlanta for the past 5 years with my husband Krupananda and daughter Kruthi.

A native of Bangalore, married to Anil and a mother of 2 lovely boys Arjun and Ashwin. We moved to Atlanta in 2014 and started my journey with NKK as a volunteer.
Program anchoring being my passion, I have compered for NKK events. I love to help in organizing of events and cultural activities. Looking forward to serve our community as an office bearer!
After being a member of NKK since 2015, Vinay made it to Executive Committee this time. My vision of being with NKK is to make sure that Kannada is with us and with our next generations forever in the land of opportunities.
I live with my wife Shruthi and Son Sudhanva. During my free time, I enjoy music and movies.
