Activities Schedule - Games Rules

General Rules: ​

• Participants should have paid the membership dues for the year 2023, prior to participation

  • Please utilize online payment option to save time and help us get started on schedule during the event day. Membership payments can be made on: https://www.atlantakannada.org/membership 

• All players are requested to be present at the venue by 10.30 AM and collect their wrist bands at the registration desk.

• Register yourself with the moderator 30 mins before the game time. Helps in pairing and starting the games on time. ​

Ballon Soccer : 

• Based on Number of participants mutiple teams will be created ( around 5 in each).

• Each team will be provided with set of balloons.

• Objective is hit your ballons to opposite goals using Legs. Hands should not be used.

• At the end they can burst the balloons.

• If the balloon burst, new ballon will be provided by the judge.

Chess Requirements:

• Install a chess timer app on your phone or tablet:

• Please bring your chess set if you have one. We are running short of it.

Chess Game Rules:

1. Every game until finals will be timed for up to 20 minutes. ( Not for under 10 years).

2. The finals may be extended beyond 20 minutes depending on the time availability, the moderator will make the decision.

3. Each round is going to be a knockout round, the player will be out of the tournament if (s)he loses a game.

4. In case if there is an odd number of players in any round, one player will be chosen via lottery to go to the next round (Waiver). The player who wins a lottery will not be eligible for any further waiver in the tournament.

Carrom Requirements:

  1. We will provide the carrom set, however, you are free to bring your own game set if you are interested. Tables and chairs will be provided

Carrom Rules:

1. Each round is going to be a knockout round, the player will be out of the tournament if (s)he loses a game.

2. All games until the final will be played for only one board. There will not be a point system until finals. A player winning the board will move on to the next round.

3. In case if there is an odd number of players in any round, one player will be chosen via lottery to go to the next round (Waiver). The player who wins a lottery will not be eligible for any further waiver in the tournament.

4. The final game will be played for either 26 points or best of three boards, the moderator will decide on this depending on the time availability.

Super Minute Rules, Anthakshari, Dumb Charades, Rangooli, :

  1. Details will be provided on game day before the competition by the judges.

Kabhu (Sugarcane eating) Eating : 

• Each player will be given One Sugarcane piece.

• Judging will be based on

  • Peeling and Chewing speed and quality of chewing .. ( Not sure how it will tested but will try :-) ) ​​
